Fly tipping and dumping old cars is a frequent problem in rural areas, even though the local District and County Waste Recycling centres located on Newton Road and Northampton Road in Rushden now allow vans to unload at weekends.

Fly tipping of green waste by the ford in Water Lane, Chelveston, sometime between 04:30 and 07:00 on Wednesday 23^rd April.  You can see the rope tied to the railings, used to pull the load off the vehicle as it drove off.
